Harper is just the most wonderful make up artist and I couldn’t be happier to have booked her for my wedding! From our first phone call, I was completely sold. Harper was just a joy to deal with and I knew straight away how lovely it would be spending time with her on the wedding morning!

My bridesmaids and I couldn’t fault our make up. Harper just understood exactly what we wanted and we all felt SO special. Not only that, but our make up lasted the whole day… despite many tears being shed!

The fact that all the products Harper used are cruelty free is just the cherry on the cake. Harper is very caring, and it really comes across in her whole approach.

Stop looking, honestly, and just book Harper! I cannot believe that I got so lucky to find her. Kind, patient and funny - she got on with the whole wedding party like we'd known her for years!
Makeup was flawless all day, done in such a calm and relaxed way - everyone felt so comfortable. I wasn't aware I could look so good! I feel very fortunate that Harper was available to help myself and my bridesmaids get ready on my wedding morning. Right from the start, we got on well; she was friendly, personable and professional.
Throughout, I feel like communication has been amazing. Harper is very responsive to emails and messages, and it always feels like I am getting in touch with a mate! She was very reassuring that choosing her services was a personal choice and had to be right for me and when my husband and I had to change our wedding date, Harper was so flexible and understanding. I was just so thankful that she was available again on our new date!

Harper talked me through all the products that she was applying and what colours would look good, taking into account my skin tone and type. Again, she was transparent and amazing at saying to me that things could be changed for the wedding day and asked for feedback about how the makeup lasted/changed by the end of the day.
On the day of the wedding, Harper was such an amazing addition to the morning. She was so laid back and calm, which helped to calm my nerves as well! All of my bridesmaids had different preferences for how much makeup they felt comfortable wearing and Harper tailored makeup to their requests. For myself, Harper listened to the feedback from my trial and adjusted my makeup accordingly. I felt like myself. Just a 'million dollar' version of myself. I received so many compliments, the makeup stayed put all day, and looked great on my photographs. If I was able relive the day all over again, I would definitely still choose Harper to do my wedding makeup. I'm just gutted she only does bridal makeup :)

“Harper saved my wedding day! I just moved to the UK 6 weeks before my 2nd wedding ceremony, and had no clue where to begin to find a make up artist! I thought I had found someone to do my hair and make up, but they dropped out, and 2 weeks before my wedding I reached out to Harper and she was timely in her responses and so helpful! We had a nice conversation about what I was looking for and though I was totally out of my league, Harper made me feel comfortable and safe. She did my trial 2 days before the wedding and on the day-if, we tweaked it a bit and the result was INCREDIBLE. It was truly better than I could’ve imagined. “I cannot recommend Harper enough. She is totally brilliant! Harper saved me after I had a very disappointing trial with a different make up artist for my wedding make up. After having such a bad experience, Harper took the time to really understand what I did not like about my first trial and what look I was really going for. She put so much time and effort into understanding what I wanted and tried out a range of different eye make up looks to make sure I was 100% happy! This made me feel totally at ease in the lead up to the day and on the morning itself. Harper made me look special and glamorous, but still myself, and my make up lasted all day and night. She also did the make up for my mother and mother in law and they looked fabulous on the day and were very happy with their make up. “I cannot recommend Harper enough. After months of searching for a make up artist for my wedding, I had resigned myself to the idea that I would have to do my own makeup. But I contacted Harper after reading the description on her website and I am so glad I did. From start to finish, she listened to every concern I had and - despite me booking her just weeks before the wedding - she filled me with confidence that everything would run smoothly. Harper has the loveliest manner about her and from first meeting her at the trial, I felt as though she genuinely cared about all aspects of the wedding. “I first met Harper when one of my best friends treated us all to professional make up for her wedding and I was a bridesmaid, my make up was amazing but not too over the top and we got on like a house on fire. I asked Harper if she would kindly do my make up for my wedding later in the year too, we even discovered that she already knew my husband-to-be from a previous job too (such a small world!!). Although my wedding was completely different in style to my friend's, Harper adapted the look to suit - it was super glamourous and flawless. My wedding was vintage themed and my make up really suited the overall feel and style of the day - I am so in love with my make up, she even indulged me in drawing a heart shaped beauty mark on my cheek (a look I'd not worn in so long but I might bring it back again!). “What can I say? Harper was absolutely fantastic! I loved having my trial at hers and we discussed lots of make-up techniques for both my wedding day but also just day to day which was great. She perfectly matched my skin tone (which is tricky as I am very fair skinned) and I was thrilled to have found someone who understood what I wanted, which was a natural look) exactly. My wedding day make-up looked beautiful. Everyone commented on it and it lasted so well all day long! Just a quick lippy top-up for the evening which is to be expected. “I feel so fortunate that I found Harper and booked her for my wedding at the end of December 2018. I was living abroad and couldn't have a trial until just over a week before my actual wedding day but Harper not only ensured she communicated with me regularly before the trial but also spent time during the trial asking me questions so that she could get to know exactly what I was looking for on my wedding day and what was normal for me make-up wise.

Harper is warm and friendly and made me and the other bridesmaids feel completely at ease during both the trial and on the wedding day. She was great to have around on the morning of the wedding, keeping everyone chilled out and chatting.

My make-up was flawless, she used incredible products some of which I went out and purchased as I was so impressed with them! I loved what she did on the day, and I also loved that she was open to giving me advice on what would suit me best based on my colouring etc.Two of my bridesmaids who had their make-up done were incredibly happy, and both looked amazing.

“I cannot recommend Harper enough! Harper did the wedding makeup for my myself, 3 bridesmaids, Mom and my mother in law. She gave us a plan and timetable of who she wanted in the makeup chair a couple of weeks in advance which really helped so we all knew exactly where we needed to be.

A few of the party do not usually wear much makeup and wanted a more natural look. I myself wear quit a lot of makeup on a daily basis but still wanted to look special and different with it being my wedding day. Harper managed to get everyone’s requested looks spot on! Our makeup last all day, even in the wind and rain!

“I was so lucky to find Harper!! I had been trialling lots of different make up thinking that I could do my own make up on my big day. However, nothing I or anyone else created came close to my Wedding Day make up by Harper.
From the first email, I knew she was the right artist for me. She helped me talk through why my make up choices had not been working for me and advised me on the products she would consider. Harper then created exactly what I was hoping for, a natural, strong, elegant look that still felt like me. I felt beautiful and my Husband loved it. My make-up lasted ALL day and felt so light on my face. My four bridesmaids make up was also excellent. A couple of my bridesmaids had reservations regarding having their make-up done, especially as they had not had a trial. However, Harper made them all feel at ease, listened to their individual needs and created a unified beautiful look.
If you are looking for someone to put you straight at ease, listen to your ideas and/or concerns, respond to emails quickly and make you feel relaxed and calm on your wedding day then I could not recommend Harper enough. On my wedding day I trusted her completely, I did not think about what she was doing, I just enjoyed the moment, and made special and happy memories with my bridesmaids.

“When I was planning the wedding I wasn’t sure that I wanted or needed someone to do my hair and makeup but I decided to treat myself and I’m so glad I did! It totally made the wedding day perfect. Initially I sent out my enquiry on Make me Bridal and after receiving a few replies it was Harper’s that stood out to me immediately. I shared my ideas on Pinterest with her and we arranged for a trial at my house 3 months before the wedding, which I was quite nervous about it as I don’t wear much make up and didn’t want to be disappointed and feel over made up. Harper immediately put me at ease with her relaxed and friendly manner. We bonded over our shared love of animals among other things. The trial was brilliant and Harper knew exactly what I wanted, there had been no need to worry about it at all.

On the big day I was really excited and totally relaxed about my hair and makeup. We had a great time while Harper styled my hair and applied my makeup. Harper made me feel special and beautiful, she is incredible at calming nerves. It didn’t feel as if I was wearing any make up and it all stayed fresh for the whole evening.

From the first email Harper has been amazing, always in contact when I had questions or suggestions on what I would like. "Harper was my makeup artist for my wedding on 2nd June 2018. She did the make up for myself, my two bridesmaids and my mum. After being let down by another make up artist, I feel like it was a blessing in disguise as she was so professional and lovely!

Before booking, Harper answered all my questions and we had a really useful trial where she made notes and trialled different options, always asking for my feedback. I don't wear much make up at all, so I didn't want to feel I was drowning in it, but also wanted to feel 'pretty' and look good for photos (of course!) and Harper totally nailed this! I absolutely love my make up in all my pictures - I wish I could have had it on longer! Having said that - it didn't budge throughout the day (which was warm!), including the Ceilidh dancing!

What made it even better was that Harper was super friendly, lovely and fun, and all of us had a really great morning. She was unflappable, knew which order to make us up and we were all ready in perfect time. Oh and of course she is an animal lover, so took so well to my (really large) dog when she came to my home for the trial <3

Unfortunately my eyes are quite watery and the eyeliner and mascara turned me into a panda. Harper worked hard to find products to suit me and kindly did another trial for my eyes.
